Tropical Fruit Variety Box

Our Tropical Variety Box is comprised of a variety of delicious, seasonal rare tropical fruits. Our Tropical Variety Box includes fruits which are currently available and that we are picking at the time of your order. We include some of the most delicious fruits we have to offer in this box. While the contents of our Tropical Variety Box alternates with each season throughout the year, many of the fruits we offer are included in our Variety Box at some point. However, some exclusions do exist. We ship extremely sensitive types of fruits with custom expedited shipping; therefore, Soursop and most Annona fruits are not included in our Tropical Variety Box and must be purchased separately. Other fruits not included in our Tropical Variety Box are generally incompatible due to fruit size and harvest limitations. If you would like to make a special request for your Variety Box in order to substitute a particular fruit, if it is in season and nature permits, we are happy to accommodate these requests. If you would like to include a sensitive fruit type to your Tropical Variety Box, you must submit a custom order note, and select overnight shipping in checkout. Enjoy!

A Tropical Variety Box is comprised of various types of fruits which have different ripening instructions. Some fruits will arrive ripe and ready to eat, while others do not ripen naturally on the tree and must be ripened at room temperature until soft. Many fruits will have seeds, however the seeds of most types of fruits are not edible and should be discarded. Before you cut into any of your fruits, you should visit our Fruit Ripening Guide, or visit the respective product page for each type of fruit you have received. This will provide you with the information you need to know about how to ripen, eat and store your fruit once it is ripe. Of the fruits we ship in our Tropical Variety Box, the only fruits with edible seeds are: All Dragon Fruits, Tomarillo, Star Fruit (Carambola), Guava, Passion Fruit, all seeded Bananas, Granadilla, Lilikoi. All other seeds must be discarded. If you receive a fruit in your Tropical Variety Box which is not listed here, visit our products page and locate the product. In the product description for each fruit, we articulate whether the seed is edible. If you cannot find this information and are uncertain, out of an abundance of caution, do not consume the seeds. Our fruits are allowed to grow on the trees further into the growing season to allow proper fruit development for optimal flavor, vitamin and nutrient content. Our fruits are picked from our own rare tropical fruit trees, from the trees of our local partners, collectors, and sourced internationally from sustainable organic niche farmers. Pre-Orders will ship in the order they are received, as soon as the fruit is in season and ready to be picked.

• Small Box contains approximately 3-5 pounds of fruit 
• Medium Box contains approximately 8-10 pounds of fruit 
• Large Box contains approximately 14-16 pounds of fruit 

Box weight and amounts vary depending on fruit type, volume and density. All boxes are shipped with sustainably produced biodegradable packing material instead of Styrofoam or bubble wrap. See our Shipping Guide for more information pertaining to our shipping schedule.

Please be mindful of estimated delivery times for orders, as prolonged package exposure to outdoor weather conditions, such as snow or extreme heat, will affect perishable produce.

All boxes are assembled and shipped starting on Monday of the week following your purchase. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be shipped for any product which is in season. Pre-Orders will ship the following season for each respective fruit type, see details below.

Pre-Orders:

When one of our fruits is not currently in season, or has sold out, we highly recommend placing Pre-Orders. Placing a Pre-Order of our rare and premium tropical fruits reserves your Box for the following season. When supply is low and demand is high, Pre-Orders are shipped first. Pre-Orders are shipped in the order in which they are received for each type of fruit. Your Pre-Order is shipped as soon as the fruits are in season and ready to be picked. Some fruits have only one season per year, others have multiple seasons. Please refer to our Fruit Seasons Guide for more information.
